Freed Between the Lines is the 2024 Banned Books theme, and the Library is looking forward to celebrating your freedom to read from September 22-28. Check out our LibGuide for more information, enjoy crafts and snacks at North and South, and join the North Library on Thursday, September 26, at noon for the Phoenix Readers, who will present a theatrical reading of passages from banned books. To celebrate both Hispanic Heritage and Banned Books, we are having a Banned Books from Hispanic Authors contest with prizes (courtesy of the Rowan-Cabarrus Foundation and a Student Impact Grant).
